Who We Are
The Houston Launch Pad (THLP) provides job readiness training and support services to underserved of all backgrounds in the greater Houston area and surrounding counties. We promote and practice equal access to services for individuals with limited options to training programs, housing, and other resources needed to be independent. THLP works with clients and other agencies to increase options for employment and independent living.
THLP conducts personal outreach to VETERANS who are unserved and underserved. This includes releasees/parolees, substance abusers and homeless persons. Because we provide job training and support services, THLP is positioned to assist homeless veterans in these programs and placing them in housing as soon as possible. No veteran should be without a home.

GRANT PROGRAMS
The Houston Launch Pad assists homeless veterans and veteran families through two key programs: Homeless Veterans Reintegration Grant: Provides services to help homeless veterans reintegrate into society and secure stable housing and employment. Veterans and Spouse Transition Assistance Grant Program: Offers support to veterans and their spouses as they transition to civilian life, focusing on career development and job placement.
These programs aim to address the unique challenges faced by veterans and their families, promoting self-sufficiency and successful reintegration into civilian communities.
